Position Summary. The Quality Assurance Specialist is an essential member of Jubilee’s Quality Enhancement team, helping to ensure quality care and services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role conducts quality inspections, supports incident investigations, and assists with creating recommendations that enhance the services and care provided at Jubilee. Success in this position will result in well-written assessments, evaluations, and timely reports that help Jubilee maintain compliance and enhance its services for people with disabilities.       
   
Responsibilities.  
  • Lead Jubilee’s internal incident reporting, investigation, and tracking process, while providing support for higher-severity reportable incidents as requested and needed.
  • Conduct detailed quarterly inspections of Jubilee’s services to ensure compliance with regulations and enhance the quality of life for people supported by Jubilee.   
  • Complete and maintain training and certifications required for the role. 
  • Assist with compilation of the Human Rights Committee packet
  • Maintain and review notes of incident investigations and witness statements. 
  • Ensure proposed action plans and recommendations are followed up on and assist with the creation of an action plan. 
  • Assist with compiling data and preparing reports on incidents for management review.
  • Assist with coordination and delivery of QA-related trainings. 
  • Collaborate with the Person-Centered Planning team to gather annual satisfaction survey data. 
  •  Review Personal Outcome Measure assessments to identify priority goals and areas of concern, ensuring accountability through structured follow-up with management.
  • Conduct at least 12 Personal Outcome Measure interviews in partnership with the Person-Centered Planning Team.
  • Work collaboratively with Program Services, and other departments to ensure consistent application of quality and compliance standards.
  • Adapt priorities as needed in response to emergent incidents, investigations, or audits while maintaining progress on planned QA projects.
  • Maintain data integrity across QA systems by managing tracking tools (e.g., monday.com boards, spreadsheets, etc.) used for incidents, action plans, inspections, and compliance activities.
  • Other duties as assigned   
Qualifications.  
  • Associate degree or equivalent coursework related to the role. 
  • 2-3 years of related professional experience.  
  • Transparent communication, accountability, and a growth‑oriented approach to feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Advanced reasoning abilities, good judgment and a high level of discretion and confidentiality. 
  • Advanced written and verbal communication, with strong interpersonal skills.  The use of person-first language and thinking is essential.  
  • Excellent organizational/time-management skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn and use new tools and software: Microsoft Suite, Excel, Monday.com, database. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and organized records across multiple tracking systems.
  • Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously. 
  • Knowledge of disability services regulations and systems is preferred.
  • Excellent people skills. 
  • True passion for the organization's mission; desire to work with and learn from people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. 
  • Being bilingual (English/Spanish) is always a plus.

Compensation. This position has a fixed starting salary of $73,000 per year. Benefits include 4 weeks of vacation, 2 weeks of sick leave, health/dental/life/disability insurance, 3% retirement match after one year, 7 paid holidays, $1,000 student loan assistance or tuition reimbursement, paid training opportunities, Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for medical and dependent care expenses, periodic reimbursement of vacation expenses, and more. Depending on personal situations, additional paid leave may apple, such as parental leave, bereavement leave, and jury service. Eligibility for some benefits starts at 20 or 30 hours of work per week. 

Physical Requirements: This position primarily involves sedentary work performed in an office or approved remote environment, including extended periods of computer use. The role requires the ability to communicate effectively, remain stationary for prolonged periods, and occasionally move about the workplace. The employee must be able to lift and/or move items up to 15 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Employees must obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid certification through an organization-approved provider in order to perform the essential functions of the role.


Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid-eligible position requiring regular on-site presence. Remote work may be permitted with supervisor approval, provided it aligns with operational needs and organizational priorities.
